As long as the hotel you take is in the city center and close to a subway station, you are in good shape.
Particularly good areas in our opinion are:
* Marina Bay on the side of the Marina Center with the iconic view of the Singapore skyline (opposite the Marina Bay Sends). 4 train lines nearby, many shopping malls and an excellent departure point for city tours.

* Orchard Road The main and glittering avenue of Singapore. A boulevard of glittering shopping malls with a futuristic design, full of places to eat and two train lines.

* Bencoolen Street - one of the most underrated streets in Singapore at the moment, so you can find relatively cheap hotels. A renovated street in the center of Singapore, access to three train lines, an excellent starting point for city tours, good food and a young atmosphere thanks to the art schools on the street.
* Clarke Quay area - close to the best entertainment area in Singapore and two train lines.
