The hotel is located in an excellent position in Marina Centre, a great starting point for tours of the island's center. The Esplanade promenade, with its breathtaking iconic view of the Singapore skyline (some hotel rooms also face this view), is a short walk away. From the promenade, you can cross the DNA-shaped Helix Bridge to the Marina Bay Sands mall and promenade, continue to the Singapore Flyer, or take a stroll along the Singapore River estuary, with its impressive colonial government buildings.
Below the hotel is the Marina Square mall, with many excellent restaurants, a food court, and an entire floor with an amazing playroom for children. Adjacent to the hotel is Suntec City mall, one of the largest in Singapore, from which you can take shuttles to Singapore's zoos, go on open-top bus tours around the city, and board the amphibious vehicle, which, in addition to touring the city, takes you on a cruise in the marina. In addition to all this, the subway is a short five-minute walk away.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious, some with views of the marina and Singapore's famous skyline. A beautiful swimming pool with city views, shaded areas, and an excellent bar is a great place to spend an hour or two. The best part of the hotel, in my opinion, is the food. An excellent and varied breakfast and one of the best buffet restaurants in Singapore for dinner. The hotel lobby also provides excellent service. Noteworthy are the afternoon High Tea and the excellent cocktails. The hotel has an urban farm located next to the large restaurant, which supplies fresh vegetables to the hotel's kitchens. I celebrated my wife's birthday at this hotel and I highly recommend it!
