The hotel is located in an excellent location in the marina (Marina center), an excellent starting point for tours in the center of the island. The Esplanade Promenade, with its iconic and spectacular view of the Singapore skyline (some of the hotel's rooms also face this view), is a short walk away. From the boardwalk you can cross the DNA-like Helix Bridge to the Marina Bay Sands mall and boardwalk, continue the Ferris wheel or take a trip to the mouth of the Singapore River, with its impressive colonial government buildings.
Below the hotel, the Marina Square mall, with lots of excellent restaurants, a food court and an entire floor with an amazing playground for children. Adjacent to the Suntec City mall hotel, one of the largest in Singapore, from where you can take shuttles to the Singapore zoos, go on open bus tours around the city and get on the amphibious vehicle, which in addition to the city tour includes a cruise in the marina. In addition to all this, the subway is a short five minute walk away.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious, some with views of the marina and Singapore's famous skyline. A beautiful swimming pool with a view of the city, shaded corners and an excellent bar is a great place to spend an hour or two. The best part of the hotel in my opinion is the food. Excellent and varied breakfast and one of the best buffet restaurants in Singapore for dinner. The hotel lobby also provides excellent service. Worth mentioning is the long afternoon High Tea and the excellent cocktails. The hotel has an urban farm located next to the large restaurant, the farm supplies fresh vegetables to the hotel kitchens. I celebrated my wife's birthday at this hotel and I highly recommend it!
