I don't like saying "must-visit" in Singapore... simply because there are so many amazing things to do, there's no need to stress; however you do it, it will turn out well. What I do like to do is recommend. I highly recommend a cruise on the Singapore River and in Marina Bay, and if you can do it at sunset, even better!

Starting at Clarke Quay Jetty, you head south towards the Marina. Initially, you cruise on the river, and on both banks, you can see historical Singapore with colonial buildings around 200 years old. On one side are government buildings from the British colonial era, and on the other, the historical port buildings of Singapore. As you proceed and get closer to the river mouth, Singapore's modern skyline and its mesmerizing skyscrapers reveal themselves. As the sun sets, the colors and lights become more and more intense. You enter the Marina at the perfect time to experience modern Singapore in all its glory. In fact, most of the developed land in the Marina was reclaimed, and upon it were built architectural marvels that will keep your eyes busy.

You turn around and head back, experiencing the river in intoxicating night hues. You disembark at Clarke Quay Jetty, and hey, you're in one of the best places Singapore has to offer for an evening of entertainment – keep having fun!

From Monday to Friday, the cruise is open from 1 PM to 10 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, it's open from 10 AM to 10 PM.
