Recommended hotels
I've been living in Singapore since 2013, and honestly, I haven't really had the opportunity to stay in many hotels. My experiences with hotels in Singapore mostly come from excellent dinner parties, as it's very common in Singapore to have dinner in hotels. Additionally, it's very common to hold weddings in hotels, and I've attended quite a few of those. During the preparations for my own wedding in 2018, my wife and I visited many hotels to find the perfect location for the wedding, which exposed me to quite a few hotels from the inside. Family visits to Singapore also exposed me to a number of hotels, some better and some worse.
The main way I can help you with finding hotels is by choosing the location and if the hotel is famous for its restaurants. Additionally, I'll give you recommendations for hotels that our clients love. For everything else, I'd recommend using the reviews that appear in the links I've added to the list of hotels here.
Recommended Hotels:
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay
The hotel is located in a prime spot in Marina Center, an excellent starting point for tours of the island's center. The Esplanade promenade, with its stunning iconic view of the Singapore skyline (some of the hotel rooms also face this view), is just a short walk away. From the promenade, you can cross the DNA-shaped Helix Bridge to the Marina Bay Sands mall and promenade, continue to the Singapore Flyer, or take a stroll along the Singapore River estuary, with its impressive colonial government buildings.
Underneath the hotel is Marina Square mall, with lots of excellent restaurants, a food court, and an entire floor with an amazing playroom for kids. Adjacent to the hotel is Suntec City mall, one of Singapore's largest, from where you can take shuttles to Singapore's zoos, embark on open-top bus tours around the city, and board the amphibious vehicle, which, in addition to a city tour, takes you on a cruise in the Marina. In addition to all this, the subway is just a short five-minute walk away.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious, some with views of the Marina and Singapore's famous skyline. A beautiful swimming pool with city views, shaded areas, and an excellent bar is a great place to spend an hour or two. The best part of the hotel, in my opinion, is the food. An excellent and varied breakfast and one of Singapore's best buffet restaurants for dinner. The hotel lobby also provides excellent service. The afternoon High Tea and excellent cocktails are noteworthy. The hotel has an urban farm located next to the large restaurant, which provides fresh vegetables for the hotel's kitchens.
I celebrated my wife's birthday at this hotel, and I highly recommend it!

Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre
I have a special fondness for this hotel; it's where I got married in 2018. From years of experience with Holiday Inn hotels in Israel and around the world, I can say that I personally really like the chain's hotels. From what I've seen, the chain's hotels maintain very good standards, and they are consistently kept in every destination where I've stayed at a hotel from the chain. The hotel is excellently located, in the southern part of the famous Orchard Road and a short walk to a subway station. The hotel serves as an excellent starting point for a walking tour of the glittering Orchard Road, for unrestrained shopping, or just for great window shopping. Of course, there are also many excellent restaurants nearby.
The rooms are clean and spacious, the food is excellent, the bar is great, and there's a fantastic spa.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights after my wedding and enjoyed it very much!

JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La
Located in the heart of the sparkling Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping street. Right above a central subway station. The hotel has a charming rooftop pool with breathtaking city views.
Add to the exceptionally good location the fact that many of our clients have recommended the hotel, and we can say that it is definitely a recommended hotel.

The Clan Hotel Singapore
A relatively new hotel, located in an excellent spot, on the border between Chinatown and Singapore's business district. This is a very attractive area with beautiful streets like Amoy and Telok Ayer, full of preserved buildings, creating a special vintage atmosphere. On the other hand, there are the glittering skyscrapers of Singapore's business center.
The area is one of the best culinary areas in Singapore, and there are also quite a few bars operating nearby. Add to this the proximity to the center of Chinatown, the Clarke Quay entertainment area, the Marina Bay area, and we have a perfect location. The hotel rooms offer an amazing view of central Singapore and Chinatown with its red roofs.
Many of our clients who stayed at the hotel told us about comfortable and beautiful rooms, and excellent service. Many also loved the covered streets area right below the hotel.

Fairmont Singapore
Many of our clients loved the hotel, and some returned to it more than once. Everyone reported excellent rooms, a good atmosphere, amazing views from the rooms, and excellent service. I emphasize the excellent location.
The hotel is located right in the city center, close to most of the attractive areas for tourists. You can go out from the hotel itself for walking tours around central Singapore and reach very important, interesting, and beautiful key points in the city. Below the hotel, there are two subway stations where 3 different lines pass, with which you can comfortably and quickly reach all the island's attractions.
Also under the hotel, the luxurious Raffles City shopping mall, through which you can reach about five more very high-end malls via an air-conditioned underground link. This is a paradise for shopping enthusiasts. The hotel complex has excellent restaurants that many local Singapore residents frequent. It is highly recommended to experience high tea at the iconic Raffles Hotel, located nearby.

YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road
A hotel our clients really loved. Excellent location, at the beginning of the sparkling Orchard Road, a very short distance from Orchard MRT station and the huge Ion mall.

Hotels on Bencoolen Street:
Bencoolen Street has undergone a significant facelift in recent years. From a relatively quiet street in the city center with relatively very old hotels and buildings (not heritage buildings), it has transformed into a true hidden gem and well-maintained area in the city center. Two new train stations have opened at both ends of the street (Bencoolen MRT and Rocher MRT), and in addition, about 4 more train stations within a short walking distance make the street an ideal location for tourists to stay. A row of new hotels has opened, currently offering excellent value for money.
From what it looks like, the street continues to develop, and there is a high chance that prices will rise in the coming years. The street is a short walk from the National Museum of Singapore and the beautiful Fort Canning Park. Also a relatively short walk away are the Singapore River estuary and the old Civic District (the British colonial government precinct) with its impressive colonial buildings, and the central part of Marina Bay.
