You may have already visited zoos in the past, in Israel and around the world, but Singapore's zoos are a different story. There are zoos and there are the Singapore Zoos. These gardens are a must for any nature lover landing in Singapore and will leave even the cynics and those hard to impress speechless.

The larger park is the Singapore Zoo, it is recommended to arrive when it opens at 8:30 in the morning, when the sun is not yet at its peak, or at 4 in the afternoon, just keep in mind that the parks close at 6 in the evening. At the zoo you can watch A huge variety of animals from all over the world, uniquely displayed at eye level and without fences (no need to worry, there is an obstacle, no tiger will jump on you). You get the feeling that you can almost touch them. I personally really like the orangutans that are in an open enclosure and it's really an experience to see them.

The River Wonders park is smaller and covered throughout, so it is suitable for a trip both in the hot hours and in rainy weather. In the park you can watch spectacular river (freshwater) animals from all over the world. In my opinion, the highlight of the park is the manatee area (it turns out that they live in fresh water and not in the sea) especially during their feeding times (2:30 pm). Another highlight in the park is the panda bear complex (not related to the rivers but still there), which recently added a cute little panda cub.

The night safari allows you to watch the nocturnal animals during their activity. In addition, you can watch a spectacular fire show.

By the end of the year, the bird park, which is currently located in a more distant spot on the island, should join the park complex.

The zoo and the River Wonders - from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Night Safari - 6:30 pm to 12:00 pm.
